Elijah Johnson, LISW-S

Elijah Johnson, MSW, LISW-S (they/them/their) is a white, bisexual, non binary, skinny, assigned female at birth person who identifies as neurodivergent. They received their Bachelors and Masters in Social Work, specializing in trans-affirming care and advocacy. Eli has been an LGBTQ+ community advocate across Ohio for 8+ years working to ensure queer and trans folks have the resources and community support they need and deserve. Before CCW, Eli worked in crisis intervention and mental health therapy to assist queer, trans and HIV+ communities through crisis.   
In addition, they specialize in working with anxiety, gender-related concerns, PTSD, personality disorders and chronic pain. Eli utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy that includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Eli understands that therapy is a complicated and vulnerable experience that requires meeting each person where and how they show up. 
They love to root you on and give you grace all while keeping you accountable to your goals and values.
