Alex Henn, MA, LPCC (he/him/his) is a white, able-bodied, cis-gender man, and the son of an immigrant. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and his Master of Arts in Counselor Education from The Ohio State University. In addition to being a licensed counselor, Alex also holds a professional school counselor licensure and has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. He has experience treating a range of concerns including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, relationship issues, and grief. In his counseling work, Alex strives to create a genuine and non-judgmental space for individuals. He believes that everyone is the expert on their own experiences and should be fully heard in exploring pathways to a healthier and happier life. Alex uses an integrative framework in choosing therapeutic approaches based on the client’s presenting concerns and goals and often gravitates towards person-centered, cognitive behavioral, and interpersonal therapies.
